I zoned out a little and before I knew it, we were climbing Russian Hill and from my side-facing driver-side seat, I caught glimpses of our beautiful bay. The sun was still fairly high, the bay was blue, Alcatraz was a bright off-white in the sunshine, and flecks of white sail boats dotted the water. The evening view made the day's mostly gray sky worth it.

A Ray of Hope - 45
I have to admit to a pleasant ride on the 45 this evening. I caught it much later than I usually do... closer to 7:00. But during these long summer days when the sun shines later (when it actually does come out), it turns out you CAN have a pleasant ride on Muni. I attribute this to the hour and day. There weren't very many people on the bus.
